Mr David R Edwards is an inspiration and a guiding light. When life and its mundane habits close around you, look at his words for inspiration. David finds poetry in the human condition. There's no rose-tinting or softening of edges. It is raw beauty. Shards of glass disguised as petals. Humour is prom-inent but often pointed inwards at the authors own psyche. David never shies away from the truth, in fact he displays it to all of us as you will find out when you read these poems seeped in wine and sex.

The Americans had Bukowski and Burroughs, Wales has David R Ed-wards. You may laugh, you may wince, you may even cry but aren’t these emotions just life itself?
